Mr. Richardson's grade 9 science class is covering cell reproduction. Mr. Richardson gave his students the tasks of making three-dimensional models of plant or animal cells.
This assignment certainly put their design skills to the test! Each component of the model (cell organelles) had to be three-dimensional, and the students were encouraged to be creative with the design of the model.
The students rose to the challenge and indeed went above and beyond! The models were extremely original – from cakes to a cabbage model to a model using jelly, the students showed their understanding of the components of living cells in this project.
Well done, grade nines!
