1. Tommy Douglas Scholarship
Value: $1,500
Eligibility: Applicants must be planning to attend post secondary institution full-time. The award is open to children of, or foster children of, a member of the National Union of Public and general Employees. Applicants must also write a
750-1000 word essay on “How Tommy Douglas contributed to making Canada a more just and equitable society”. See the above link for more information and an application.
2. Terry Fox Memorial Scholarship
Value: $1,500
Eligibility: Open to students with disabilities who plan to attend post secondary institution full-time. The award is also open to children of, or foster children of, a member of the National Union of Public and general Employees .
