North Wininpeg Credit Union will be offering two scholarships at $1,000 each. The students must be a member of the North Winnipeg Credit Union on the day the selection committee meets. Applicants must be of a Ukrainian-Canadian descent, and must be registered to continue their education at a university, college or trade school. While academic achievements are important, the selection committee will also take into account the student's participation in extra-curricular activities in their high school, community volunteer work, as well as invovlement in the Ukrainian community. |
