Horace Patterson Foundation Scholarships

Value: Up to six scholarships with values ranging from $600 to $1,000 each. Applicants must have the following atributes:

• Must be African-Canadian (Black) descent
• Be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant and a resident of Manitoba
• Plan to attend or continue at a recognized post-secondary institution
• Be a young person, 25 years of age or under
• Particular attention is paid to students who demonstrate academic potential, Black community involvement and financial need
• Demonstrate involvement in community activities. Additional points may be awarded to members and/or volunteers of the Foundation and Dumisani Productions
